Fanny de Lourdes Puma Puma, The Ambassador of the Republic of Ecuador, visited the President of the International Investment and Business Confederation (ULUSKON) and the Goodwill Ambassador of the International Human Rights Defense Committee (IHRDC) Mrs. Emine Atasoy at the ULUSKON headquarters.
Within the scope of the visit, the individuals mutually discussed the economical cooperations between Latin American countries and the Republic of Turkey. In addition, during the visit, matters in relation to the export and import between the two countries were also handled. Madam Ambasador and President Atasoy settled for a dicision to organize a forum in the first half of 2022 in Turkey, titled “Turkey-Latin American Countries Economic Cooperation Conference”, a forum through which ambassadors from all Latin American countries and business people who are competent in their fields can meet under the same roof. The aim of the meeting is to initiate new commercial cooperation between Turkey and Latin American countries.

“After my first encounter with ULUSKON, I had done some research on the work it carries out and it had immediately become an institution that caught my attention. I also met with other Latin American ambassadors. Mr. Atasoy will prepare a presentation for us about the potentials of countries so that Turkish businessmen will be guided accordingly. We shall reconcile the business people of the same field and get them to meet one another. I follow and appreciate Mr. Atasoy’s work and her establishments all around the world. It is important for us to increase exports and imports between our countries. In this sense, it is alsoour wish to host a delegation from ULUSKON in Kito, the capital of our country,” the Ecuadorian Ambassador stated.
