Nezaket Emine Atasoy, President of the International Investment and Business Confederation (ULUSKON) and International Human Rights Defense Committee (IHRDC) Goodwill Ambassador, met with Romanian Ambassador to Ankara, Ştefan Tinca. President Atasoy stated that there will be cooperation with the Romanian Embassy on exports and investments.
Romanian Ambassador to Ankara Ştefan Tinca and Undersecretary of Economy and Trade Mihaela Turbaceanu visited ULUSKON Chairman and IHRDC Goodwill Ambassador Nezaket Emine Atasoy at the headquarters. At the meeting hosted by President Atasoy, the two parties gathered to discuss mutual economic relations. Business people who requested investment in Romania from the construction and defense sectors through ULUSKON also attended the meeting. Noting that the investments in Romania have increased recently, President Atasoy said, “Romania has been offering good investment opportunities lately. For instance, there is quite room for the processed food industry. Investors may turn to this field rather than agriculture. It would also be rewarding to consider opting for copper and zinc potentials in the lovely Romania,”
‘WE WANT TO WORK WITH THE TURKISH BUSINESS WORLD’
In his speech at the meeting, Ambassador Tinca said, “For a long time, our nations have contributed mutually to each other in commercial interaction. Romania is the country where Turkey’s trade activities are most active in Europe. It is my greatest wish to continue this for the benefit of both parties. Romania is now moving rapidly towards becoming a developed country, leaving its status as a developing country. This is also reflected on the organizations to which it is a member.”
Ambassador Tinca invited President Atasoy and a business delegation to Romania in April 2022.
“We want to work with the Turkish business world. We expect investors from these mentioned areas to Romania. I would like to express my gratitude to President Atasoy for guiding Turkish business people in these areas.” he stated.
‘’WE SHALL COOPERATE WITH THE ROMANIAN EMBASSY ON INVESTMENTS’’
Noting that they will cooperate with the Romanian Embassy in export and investment in this context, President Atasoy stated that they attach great importance to furthering Turkey’s exports to Romania. Atasoy said, “As ULUSKON, we will guide business people from all sectors who want to invest in Romania and visit Romania together. We shall cooperate with the Romanian embassy on investments.“
This cooperation between the two countries is planned to increase the imports and exports between Romania and Turkey.
