Meroving Matias, Secretary General of the International Human Rights Defense Committee (IHRDC), visited the International Investment and Business Confederation (ULUSKON) as part of the ‘Atatürk Commemoration Day’.
The visit, which took place at ULUSKON headquarters, was hosted by ULUSKON President Nezaket Emine Atasoy, who was appointed as Turkey’s first goodwill ambassador last September. During the visit, new projects that could be carried out within the scope of IHRDC were discussed. Issues such as ULUSKON’s participation in joint projects in African countries were discussed at the meeting, as well as furthering cooperation within the framework of the implementation of social programs in the Republic of Turkey.
‘WE SHALL LEAD NEW PROJECTS’
“The Human Rights Defense Committee has implemented large-scale projects on behalf of humanity all over the world. From now on, we will lead projects on the fight against discrimination and inequality. I would like to thank Mr. Matias for his visit to Turkey. I am happy to be working as a team in Turkey, Africa and other countries of the world. We also greatly appreciate Mr. Meroving for all the work he has accomplished.” stated Nezaket Atasoy, IHRDC Goodwill Ambassador
‘TURKEY IS A ROLE MODEL FOR OTHER COUNTRIES’
IHRDC Secretary General Matias congratulated IHRDC Goodwill Ambassador Nezaket Atasoy on her appointment and personally presented her credentials. “Turkey is one of the key players in the world community and has a huge influence in the east. The participation of the Turkish side in the activities of the International Human Rights Defence Committee is extremely important for us, and in particular the support of the ULUSKON. Mrs. Atasoy Nezaket, as a IHRDC Goodwill ambassador, has done a huge amount of work in short term and showed herself as an excellent initiator and performer. The Republic of Turkey is a role model in many areas for other countries. Turkish partners are always reliable and always show high professionalism, especially in the implementation of international projects. I am very grateful that we have such support.” declared Matias Meroving in a statement.
