A SIGNIFICANT VISIT TO AZERBAIJAN EMBASSY FROM ULUSKON PRESIDENT NEZAKET EMINE ATASOY The President of the International Investment and Business Confederation (ULUSKON) and the Goodwill Ambassador of the International Human Rights Defense Committee (IHRDC) Nezaket Emine ATASOY and her delegation visited the Azerbaijan Embassy. During the visit, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Ankara Reşad Mammadov; “Azerbaijan and Turkey became one in the military perspective, both countries soldiers worked together and trained each other. Apart from military cooperation, the two countries are advancing together in energy, transportation, agriculture, industry, tourism and many other sectors.” Referring to the war with Armenia, Ambassador Mammadov said, “We had to avert the danger. 50 of our soldiers were martyred. They sacrificed their lives for their country. The land is the homeland if anyone dies for it. Azerbaijan is a geographically important region and a powerful country. More than 200 people lost their lives due to mines in the Karabakh region, so we had to defend ourselves. We always feel Turkey by our side, the Azerbaijani people consider themselves ninety-four million,” The Ambassador noted, “I believe that we strengthen each other not only militarily but also economically as two brotherly countries, and the cooperation that ULUSKON has provided and will provide, especially in the fields of export, import and investment is very important for us.” President Atasoy expressed her sorrow: “We feel the pain of Azerbaijan in our hearts, Azerbaijan and Turkey are brothers. May Allah give patience to the families of martyrs. I hope things like this don’t happen again. We are always with you, and we will continue to be.” Addressing the import, export and investment issues between Azerbaijan and Turkey, Atasoy said; “We want to expand our cooperation in the field of import, export and investment. We want to be with you in every way during this process. I would like to identify the issues that we need to focus on in order to further our cooperation. As ULUSKON, we have accomplished many projects around the world in terms of import, export and investment. I believe we will take great steps in further developing our economies together.” President Atasoy recently stated that they want to visit Azerbaijan as an ULUSKON delegation with a program to be organized by the Embassy. Ambassador Reşad Mammadov, stated that he would be pleased to create a program for the visit of the ULUSKON delegation to Azerbaijan and would be happy to take the work with Turkey to the next level. Afterwards he thanked President Atasoy and the delegation for their visit.
