“TO EDUCATE A MAN IN MIND AND NOT IN MORALS IS TO EDUCATE A MENACE TO SOCIETY ” -THEODORE ROOSEVELT
“Passport 2 Future” was celebrated on the 30th of September, 2019 with the launch Indian chapter of “World Humanitarian Drive (WHD. The official partner of IHRDC-CIPDH)”, an international NGO in collaboration with Panimalar Engineering College, Chennai.
The P2F event was graced by Hon. Navas Kani M.P., Hon. Saravanan Karathihayan- Consul General of Malaysia High Commission Chennai and Hon. Aleksei Illiuviev- 2nd Secretary Russia High Commission, Delhi
In the event Croydon U.K. international Ambassador and WHD charity organisations Founder Chairman Abdul Basit Syed, spoke on importance of instilling high values through moral education to develop and inspire youth for a peaceful harmonious world, Mr Syed proudly informed WHD organisation members have started on a movement to request United Nations to Declare and celebrate 30th September as UN Moral Education Day.
The management of Panimalar Group of Institutions – Secretary & Correspondent, Dr.P.Chinnadurai and Directors , Shri. C.Sakthikumar & Shrimathi.Saranyasree Sakthikumar hosted the event. The whole group of Panimalar assured to extended their complete support for the success of the movement on the petition to United Nations to announce World Moral Education Day .
