Observers and field personnel of the International Human Rights Defense Committee IHRDC-CIPDH are currently working in the Donetsk joint operations area. The presence of IHRDC-CIPDH observers has been agreed with representatives of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The purpose of the IHRDC-CIPDH observers working group is to record violations of international humanitarian law conventions. The reason for this verification is to check areas that do not have time to visit international observers with a mandate. Also check the situation of civilians and compliance with the rules on the protection of civilians of the military conflict parties. The IHRDC-CIPDH observers are accompanied by a detachment of Ukrainian military forces.
