Nezaket Emine Atasoy, the President of the INTERNATIONAL Investment and Business Confederation (ULUSKON) and Goodwill Ambassador of the International Human Rights Defense Committee (IHRDC), met with Georgian Ambassador Giorgi Jajgava. Goodwill Ambassador Atasoy expressed that they will cooperate with the Georgian Embassy on export and investment.
Georgian Ambassador Giorgi Jajgava visited the ULUSKON President and IHRDC Goodwill Ambassador Nezaket Emine Atasoy. The meeting took place at the ULUSKON headquarters. The multilateral meeting was also attended by representatives of investors.
Ambassador Jajgava stated that companies in Georgia operate in almost every sector, including HEPP investments, textile, apparel, tourism and hotel, furniture, food, cleaning materials and service sectors.
“Georgia will also act as a bridge in Turkey’s commercial activities with other countries. The worldwide work of Ms. Nezaket is admirable. I would be honored to cooperate together.” Jajgava said.
ATASOY: ”OUR GOAL IS TO DEVELOP COMMERCIAL RELATIONS”
President Atasoy noted that their goal is to develop economic and commercial relations between Georgia and Turkey. Stating that they will cooperate with the Georgian Embassy in this context on export and investment, Atasoy expressed her wishes to give importance to furthering Turkey’s exports to Georgia. During her speech during the meeting, “Turkey is the country that exports the most to Georgia. 17 percent of total exports to Georgia belong to Turkey. In addition to these investments, it would be to the benefit of either side to also evaluate the construction and renewable geothermal energy potentials in Georgia.” Atasoy said.
After the meeting, Ambassador Jajgava invited President Atasoy and her accompanying business delegation to Georgia in the first months of 2022. This cooperation between the two countries aims to increase the import and export activities between Georgia and Turkey.
