The International French Organisation “Comité International pour la Protection des Droits de l’Homme”(Internatinal Human Rights Defense Committee. CIPDH) officially announces the opening of a branch in the Republic of Iraq. According to the decision of the CIPDH Administration Council, Mr. Oudah Vecih, president of the UBC Group, was appointed as the director of the CIPDH Filial in the Republic of Iraq, and on April 07, 2022, official documents were handed over to him by the IHRDC-CIPDH Secretary General Mr. Matias Meroving.
The activities of the CIPDH Filial in Iraq will be focused on protecting the rights of Iraqi citizens abroad and supporting cooperation between human rights organizations in Iraq and the European Union. Official opening is planned for June 2022.
